2025 Taipei Art Awards
Spotlighting the next generation of Taiwanese voices
Established in 1983, the Taipei Art Awards is one of Taiwan’s leading platforms for contemporary visual art, showcasing work that reflects the realities of life today.
Over more than four decades, the awards have tracked the evolution of Taiwan’s art scene, with a particular focus on experimentation and emerging voices rather than fixed categories or mediums, according to the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
The 2025 edition features works by 10 finalists selected from over 300 submissions, showcasing a wide range of practices, from installation and video to mixed-media and conceptual work.
Each artist is given space to present a distinct body of work, turning the exhibition into a series of parallel worlds that reflect different perspectives on contemporary life.
