London jazz innovator brings full band to Taiwan's capital
Alfa Mist Live in Taipei 2026 brings the London-based producer, composer, and pianist to Taipei, marking his first full-band performance in Taiwan, according to Legacy Taipei.
Known for blending jazz, hip-hop, and cinematic influences, Alfa Mist has built a reputation as one of the UK’s leading contemporary artists, with past collaborations including Yussef Dayes, Tom Misch, and Jordan Rakei.
He began composing at 15 and later taught himself keyboard, developing his musical language through beat-making and exposure to jazz and film scoring, according to Legacy Taipei.
Since the release of his debut album Nocturne in 2015 and breakthrough project Antiphon in 2017, Alfa Mist has continued to expand his sound, drawing influence from artists such as John Coltrane, J Dilla, and Hans Zimmer.
