Artist Hsia Ai-hua’s solo exhibition, Ancient Shadows, Becoming Light in the Eyes, focuses on mythology, animals, and spiritual guardians through sculptural works, according to the Lih Pao Cultural Arts Foundation.

Using traditional techniques, the Taiwanese artist reinterprets the Chinese zodiac as contemporary protective figures, drawing on both mythological and natural imagery, the foundation said.

The works combine traditional references with a contemporary visual style, presenting familiar symbols in new forms.
