I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change
A witty musical comedy about the chaos of relationships

The long-running musical I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change lands in Taipei with a sharp, funny take on modern relationships.
First staged Off-Broadway in 1996, the show is built around 20 short scenes that track love across its many stages, from awkward first dates to marriage and beyond.
Performed by a cast of four actors taking on multiple roles, it moves quickly between comedy and more reflective moments without ever lingering too long in one place, according to PLAYground, the Taipei-based presenter.
This Taipei run is staged at PLAYground Nancun Theater in Xinyi District, a small, flexible venue known for hosting contemporary and experimental productions.
The show runs for 150 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission, and is performed in English with Chinese subtitles.
