Japanese photographer and filmmaker Mika Ninagawa is known for her bold, hyper-saturated imagery, marked by dense color and floral motifs, according to exhibition materials.
This exhibition at Huashan 1914 Creative Park expands that visual language into an environment of light and shadow, using panoramic projections and digital installations.
Created in collaboration with creative collective EiM, the show builds on a previous run in Kyoto, according to organizers.
Rather than presenting photographs alone, the exhibition allows visitors to move through Ninagawa’s work in a spatial format.
Through shifting projections and layered visuals, it presents her color-focused style at a larger scale.
