Star Wars Run

The theme of the annual Star Wars Run this year is The Mandalorian & Grogu, riding the wave of the franchise’s latest release, according to running website CTRun.

Held at New Taipei Metropolitan Park, the event leans into fan culture, with themed merch, photo zones, and a night-run setup aimed more at atmosphere than athletic glory.

There’s still a competitive edge if you want it, with chip timing and a 10 km category, alongside a shorter 3.5 km option that’s closer to a themed fun run.

Expect lightsabers, Grogu everywhere, and a crowd that's mainly here for the outfits. Even though the event is already full, it’s still worth heading down to take in the spectacle.
