Taste regional specialties and explore Japanese culture at a free weekend fair
The Fun Fly Fukushima tourism and product fair will come to Songshan Cultural and Creative Park on Saturday September 5 and Sunday September 6, bringing food, drink, crafts, and cultural performances from Fukushima to Taipei for a free two-day event.
Running from 10 AM to 6 PM on both days, the event will offer peaches, sake, regional food, specialty products, and limited-edition gifts, according to the official event website.
Organizers say the stage program will include traditional dances and appearances by performers from Fukushima.
Visitors can also try traditional crafts, learn about Fukushima’s different regions, pose with mascots, use a themed photo booth, collect stamps, and enter a prize draw, according to the event website.
With free admission and a mixture of food, shopping, performances, and hands-on activities, the fair should appeal to families, fans of Japanese culture, and anyone considering a trip to Fukushima.
