2026 Nuit Blanche Taipei will take over the area from Taipei Expo Park in Yuanshan to the Qingguang Shopping District from Saturday October 31 to Sunday November 1, turning public spaces into a large-scale nighttime arts festival.
The free event will run from 2 PM until 2 AM, with contemporary art, performances, and interactive experiences planned throughout the area, according to the Taipei City Government.
This year's curatorial theme is "Night ka shi," inspired by nakashi, a form of itinerant live musical entertainment once closely associated with everyday nightlife in Taiwan.
Organizers said the theme will use the tradition as a starting point to explore how urban culture is passed on and reinterpreted through contemporary art.
