The Taitung East Wave Festival returns to Shanyuan Bay on May 16–17, bringing two days of music, markets, and beachside activities to Taiwan’s east coast, according to organizers.

A lineup of 14 acts will take the stage for the main beach concert, which runs from 4 PM to 9 PM. Earlier in the day, visitors can enjoy a kite show, an ocean market, and other activities.

Set on the beach, the festival looks to be a casual and laid-back way to spend a day. Entry is free. Shuttle buses will be available. Check the official website for more details.
