Taipei, July 5, 2026 (This is Taipei)

Hot, sunny weather and afternoon thunderstorms are expected Sunday, with a high-temperature advisory in effect, according to a forecast published at 7:05 AM by Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA).

Taipei will see a 70% chance of rain during the day, with temperatures ranging from 28°C to 35°C. The weather may feel comfortable at times, but heat and humidity could raise the risk of heat-related illness, so you may want to carry an umbrella, use sun protection, and drink plenty of water.

Tonight into early Monday, skies are forecast to turn cloudy with brief showers possible. The chance of rain will fall to 30%, with temperatures ranging from 27°C to 31°C, the CWA said.
