Taipei, June 7 (This is Taipei)

Cloudy skies with  showers and thunderstorms are expected in Taipei during the day Sunday, according to a forecast published 7:48 AM by Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA).

The CWA forecast a 80% chance of rain during the daytime, with temperatures ranging from 26°C to 35°C and conditions feeling comfortable at times but hot enough to raise heatstroke concerns. The city is likely to feel muggy, with rain still possible, so you might want to plan indoor activities, keep rooms ventilated and drink plenty of water, the agency advised.

Tonight and early Monday are expected to be cloudy to overcast, with brief showers or thunderstorms and a 40% chance of rain. Temperatures will range from 27°C to 31°C, the CWA said.
