Taipei, June 19 (This is Taipei)

Cloudy skies and afternoon thunderstorms are expected Friday in Taipei, while a high-temperature advisory is in effect, according to a forecast published 7:05 AM by Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA).

The CWA said there is a 30% chance of rain during the day, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 36°C. The weather should feel generally comfortable at times, but the heat may become strong enough to raise the risk of heat-related health issues. You might want to wear breathable clothing, use sun protection and drink plenty of water if you are spending time outside.

Tonight and early Saturday will be partly clear to cloudy, with a 0% chance of rain. Temperatures will range from 25°C to 31°C, feeling comfortable to muggy.
