Hot, sunny weather with brief afternoon thunderstorms is expected Monday, with a high-temperature advisory in effect, according to a forecast published 7:24 AM by Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA).

Taipei can expect daytime temperatures ranging from 27°C to 36°C, with a 30% chance of rain, the weather agency said. The heat may feel muggy during the day, so you may want to wear breathable clothing, use sunscreen, and drink plenty of water.

Tonight into early Tuesday will be cloudy with some clear breaks, with a 20% chance of rain. Temperatures are forecast to range from 27°C to 32°C, and conditions may still feel warm and humid.
