Hot, mostly sunny weather is expected in Taipei on Friday, with a high-temperature advisory in effect, according to a forecast published at 7:05 AM by Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA).

The city can expect mostly sunny skies with some clouds during the day and a 20% chance of rain. Temperatures will range from 27°C to 35°C, and the weather may feel comfortable at times but hot enough to raise the risk of heat-related illness, the CWA said. It advised people to use sun protection, drink plenty of water, wear breathable clothing, and monitor how they feel in the heat.

Tonight into Saturday morning should be stable but still a little muggy, with cloudy skies and occasional clear spells, a 10% chance of rain, and temperatures from 27°C to 32°C.
