Hot weather and brief afternoon thunderstorms are expected Friday, with a high-temperature advisory in effect, according to a forecast published at 7:05 AM by Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA).

Taipei will be mostly cloudy during the day, with a 40% chance of rain and temperatures ranging from 27°C to 36°C. Conditions may feel comfortable at times but could become hot enough to raise the risk of heat-related illness. You might want to carry an umbrella, use sun protection, and drink plenty of water if you are heading outside.

Skies are expected to turn mostly clear to partly cloudy tonight and early Saturday, with a 10% chance of rain. Temperatures will range from 27°C to 32°C, and conditions will remain warm and slightly muggy.
