Sunny skies are expected before afternoon thunderstorms in Taipei on Thursday, according to a forecast published 7:05 AM by Taiwan’s Central Weather Administration (CWA).

The weather agency said there is a 90% chance of rain during the day, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 34°C. Conditions may feel comfortable earlier on before becoming muggy and hot enough to raise the risk of heatstroke, so you may want to wear breathable, waterproof clothing and pay attention to how you feel.

From Thursday night into Friday morning, skies are expected to be cloudy to partly cloudy with brief showers. The chance of rain will be 60%, with temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C, the CWA said.
