New Taipei City’s major street dance competition returns to Banqiao District from Aug. 1–2, with dancers competing across choreography, breaking, and all-style battle categories.
First held in 2008, the competition is now in its 18th year and has become a major platform for young dancers in the city, according to promotional materials.
Preliminary rounds will be held on Aug. 1 and the final on Aug. 2. Admission is free, but visitors need to get a ticket in advance, organizers said.
Registration for competitors is open until July 15, with total prize money of NT$487,000.
