Discover Xinzhuang District through immersive art and cultural activities

The New Taipei City Government's Cultural Affairs Department is presenting "Chao-Sheng Xinzhuang 2026" from May 30 to June 21, highlighting a series of cultural events in Xinzhuang District centered on the theme of "Sound."
The program invites visitors to step into the historic alleyways of the Xinzhuang Temple Street area to rediscover its unique historical soundscape, according to an official event webpage.
A concert takes place at Xinyue Plaza (新月廣場) on Saturday June 6 from 2 PM to 8 PM, followed by traditional temple street performances at Xinzhuang Ciyou Temple and Xinzhuang Wusheng Temple on Sunday June 7 from 2 PM to 6 PM, according to the event webpage.
There are also guided cultural walks, craft workshops, stamp-collecting experiences, and themed exhibitions, organizers said.
Visitors can check out the "Seeking Sound" special exhibition daily from 10 AM to 5 PM at the Lin Xie Ji Cultural Hall (林協記文化館) at 317 Xinzhuang Road, or browse local flavors at a Taiwanese food gathering running from 3 PM to 10 PM on June 6 and 7 along Xinzhuang Temple Street.
