British artist Emma-Jean Thackray will perform at Billboard Live TAIPEI for the first time, marking her debut in Taiwan.
Described by The Guardian as a “genre-defying star,” she blends hip hop, grunge, jazz, soul, pop, funk, and electronic music.
Her second album Weirdo was entirely self-produced and explores themes of grief, survival, and outsider identity, according to Billboard Live. It was nominated for the Mercury Prize.
Known for her dynamic live shows, she is expected to bring a genre-crossing set defined by strong musicianship and high energy.
