The Maokong Night Trail returns in 2026 with a new two-day format, which includes daytime races and after-dark trail experiences.

Held in the hills around Maokong, the event features a wide range of races, including short, social night runs and multi-day races that take in ridgelines, forest paths, and tea plantations designed for experienced trail runners.

Distances span from a relaxed 6 km hike and 9 km night run to a 42 km mountain marathon, alongside 40 km and 65 km stage races that combine day and night segments.

Entry fees vary widely depending on distance and timing, starting around NT$1,000 for shorter categories and climbing to NT$4,800 for the full 65 km stage race.

Activities are centered around Boil Tea House in the Maokong area.
