PhotoVogue Taipei: Fragments of Remembering
Nineteen Asian artists explore identity, family, place, and cultural heritage
PhotoVogue Taipei: Fragments of Remembering runs at BELLAVITA Gallery from July 3 to August 2, bringing together 172 works by emerging photographers from across East and Southeast Asia in a free exhibition exploring personal and collective memory, according to Vogue Taiwan.
The exhibition features 19 artists selected through PhotoVogue’s 2025 East and Southeast Asian Panorama open call, representing Taiwan, Mongolia, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Macau, Malaysia, and Indonesia, according to the official PhotoVogue website.
Their works examine subjects including self-representation, family history, bodily experience, local culture, identity, and the ways memories are preserved, forgotten, and reconstructed over time, according to PhotoVogue.
The exhibition also includes a Louis Vuitton “Spirit of Travel” section featuring images of Taiwan by three photographers, as well as a retrospective of Vogue Taiwan covers marking the magazine’s 30th anniversary, according to Vogue Taiwan.
Visitors can access an audio guide narrated by Vogue Taiwan Editorial Director Leslie Sun by scanning a QR code, and organizers recommend bringing headphones. Admission is free, but visitors must join the official Vogue Taiwan LINE account, complete the required form, and show the confirmation screen before entering.
