Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival 2026
Taste your way through the stalls as chefs compete for the crown
The 2026 Taipei International Beef Noodle Festival is being held at Taipei Expo Park from October 9 to 11, bringing together noodle stalls and a live contest to crown Taiwan’s beef noodle champion, according to the Taipei City Government. The market is scheduled to run from 10 AM to 4 PM each day, and entry is free.
Now in its 22nd year, the competition will feature 30 teams advancing through to the finals after regional qualifying rounds, according to the Taipei City Government.
Chefs will compete with freshly made braised and clear-broth noodles, while a separate category covers packaged beef noodle meals.
Visitors can visit the market, which will feature more than 60 stalls, including a dedicated beef noodle area. Competition dishes are prepared for judging, so anyone hoping to eat should head for the vendors rather than expect samples from the contest, according to the Taipei Expo Park.
