Are we living through Earth's sixth mass extinction? A new exhibition at the National Taiwan Museum's Nanmen Branch explores the five mass extinctions that shaped life on Earth and the challenges facing species today.
Visitors can see fossils, specimens, and scientific illustrations featuring animals including the northern white rhino, dugong, polar bear, and Formosan clouded leopard, organizers said.
The exhibition also includes augmented reality experiences that bring extinct and endangered species to life. Through science, art, and interactive displays, the show encourages visitors to reflect on humanity's relationship with the natural world.
